Arrived in Sydney! Now the Party can begin!!

When we checked in at Kastrup, Copenhagen, on the 22:nd we had brought a beachvolleynet which couldn't be checked in at the same place as all the rest of our luggage. We immediately gave up the net and were pretty sure it was the last time we saw that net. "It will get lost somewhere along the way, if it will even leave Copenhagen!". When we arrived in Sydney and headed for the band where the baggage should arrive. Our bags came to us there, even if the suitcase of Dirac Bogge had been broken during transportation. No sign of the the net though. We guessed it may have been left at a special delivery place at the airport and started walking in just about any direction. A few seconds later Dirac Bogge caught sight of the net 50 meters further down the hall. :) Unbelievable but true!!

Below is the first picture taken after arrival into Australia where Dirac Bogge is waiting in the taxi line and Dirac Lofstrom is taking the picture...

After a while we got our taxi and a little while later we were at our hotel and Dirac Lofstrom found this "pippi" outside the hotel...

We started to make a list of things we were supposed to do on this first day which included the following:

Buy beachvolleyball (DL)
Buy toothpaste (DB)
Buy shorts (DL)
Buy a bag (DB)
Watch a movie at the worlds biggest 3-D screen!!!
Find a guide to "What's On"
Write a few emails
Find a way to power our computers and mobile phones

Not very often this happens but today we actually made ALL things of this list. Below is a picture taken when we visited the 3-D center. The movie was not any good at all, but the intro was really breathtaking!!! WOW!!!

We had problems finding the guide to "What's On" in Sydney. Here Dirac Lofstrom tries to ask.... just anyone...

What's On?

A visit in the Darling harbour area resulted in these pictures below. There's a monorail you can use to travel in town and two nice places to visit are the Aquarium and Sydney Tower. Sydney Tower is a rotating restaurant where you can see Sydney from above in all directions from your dinner table.

In the evening we visited a small bar where a band played....
